Bronze Age Style Shawl
I designed and knotted this shawl during re-enactments at Flag Fen Bronze Age Centre and used wool from their Soay and Mouflon breeds of sheep. The colours are the natural shades of the wools.
This shawl is extremely lightweight to wear and amazingly warm. As the Soay and Mouflon are rare breeds of sheep the shawl is now available in 21st century wool . However, I am at present endeavouring to obtain this Bronze Age wool. I can also make this in a knitting cotton if preferred.
