Celtic Knot Belt
This decorative knot is widely used in Celtic Knot work. But it is a knot with many names. The macramé term is the Josephine Knot, but it is also known as the Carrick Bend or Double Coin Knot in Chinese Knotting. In heraldry it is referred to as the Wake or Ormond Knot; Hereward the Wake ( who stood against Norman rule in 11th century England) used it as his heraldic badge.
